Trepidation

The week ahead. August 18, 2019 Cards The Four of Cups, The Two of Swords (inverted), The Seven of Swords. Rune Ehwaz You're been keeping your feelings to yourself. Playing close to the vest. Staying low key. Waiting and watching. Not wanting to reveal anything. Waiting for things to play out. Not ready to make any judgment. It hasn't been the right time. Better to let things go unsaid. Bottling it all up until things felt different. You weren't ready to say what you were feeling. But holding your tongue didn't help. Now you're confused. You can't decide what to do about it. You have to make a choice, but you're not sure what's right. There's two paths, and you can only choose one. But you're hesitant. Unsure of what you should choose. You feel pulled in opposite directions. And it's got you stuck. Weighing your options and getting nowhere. It would be better to just make the choice in the end though. Unless you take action, nothing will change. Action is better than inaction at this point. So you might as well just get it over with while there's still a chance. Otherwise, you're going to spend a lot of time on this. It will be occupying your thoughts for a while. Going deeper into confusion and maybe even anxiety. Getting further and further from making any decision at all. Getting lost down the rabbit hole of possibilities. Spinning your wheels and moving in circles. Thinking about all the things you're been thinking over and over. Until you have let the moment pass and your time to act is gone. Fortunately, it's not too late. By acting now. Even if you're wrong. You can save yourself a lot of misery you still have the power to change things. But doing nothing gets you nowhere. Only prolonging the inevitable. You're going to have to make the choice sooner or later. But doing it now is the only thing that will get you to the other side. Take the leap. He that hesitates is lost. So seize the day and just do it. Right or wrong. Either way you'll finally know. And that's always better than being stuck! This week's influence is Ehwaz, the horse. "The mind will trust the body, the body will treat the mind." Travel, movement, steady progress, forward momentum. Gradual change for the better. Transformation and evolution. Harmony, trust, and loyalty. Unity and teamwork. Beneficial relationships.
