You've been feeling down. Depressed. Disappointed. Suffering malaise, ennui, and lagrange. The French diseases of the soul. Struggling with your feelings. But doing your best to get through. Making an effort to love yourself even when you don't really want to. And although it's been rough, you're holding up. Even if you had to lean on those close to you a little more than you'd like. And maybe feel a little needy. You've soldiered through. And that's commendable!
But now you're feeling the tension. It's been a strain and you feel it wearing on you and your relationships. Maybe even to the point of conflict. Compassion fatigue is setting in and you're feeling it. Which doesn't help anyone and mostly leads to lashing out or arguing. It's frustrating and though you feel like you just need a little love while you work things out. It's not exactly abundant, inside or out. Which is just adding to the negativity that's trying to pull you spiraling further down.
You're going to get through it though. You're going to love yourself harder. Because you have to. And if that means making some changes then so be it. Find some new people if the ones around aren't there for you. Start giving to yourself what you've given to the world around you. Set boundaries. Even be a little selfish. You've been pushing through, so I know you're a fighter. It's time to start round two, and you're gonna come out swinging! No more trying to pacify your wounded heart with temporary salves. It's time to do the work and fix things. You've already realized that nobody's coming to rescue you. So you're going to be your own hero. Because you can better than anyone else. It's time to step up and make some hard decisions. Time for change. Take a breath and dive in. You got this!
